Day 11 Olympic Events to Watch: Beach Volleyball, Gymnastics and


Here are some highlights of Monday night’s US broadcast coverage. All times are East.

BEACH VOLLEYBALL With the men’s team out, April Ross and Alix Klineman will compete to represent the USA in beach volleyball in a quarterfinal match against Germany. Coverage begins at 8 p.m. on NBC Primetime

ATHLETICS American Brittney Reese and Tara Davis battle for gold in the women’s long jump finals, which will begin at 9:50 p.m. on NBC. In the men’s 400m hurdles, at 23:20, Rai Benjamin of the USA wants to beat Karsten Warholm of Norway, the current world record holder.

DIVE Andrew Capobianco competes in the men’s 3m springboard semifinals at 9 PM on NBC Primetime.

GYMNASTICS Team USA’s Jade Carey is heading for gold in the women’s floor final, competing against gymnasts including Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade and Russia’s Angelina Melnikova at 9:30 p.m. on NBC Primetime.

VOLLEYBALL At 10:30 PM on NBC Sports, the US women’s team plays against Italy.

WRESTLE NBCOlympics.com will broadcast live the men’s and women’s matches. At 23:20 Kayla Miracle took Long Jia from China freestyle 62kg advances to quarterfinals.

BASKETBALL A’ja Wilson and the USA women’s team face France at 23:00 on NBC Sports Network. At 12:40, Peacock will broadcast the men’s quarterfinal match against Spain.

WATER POLO USA Network will broadcast the quarterfinals match between the USA women’s team and Canada at 1pm.

SAIL Riley Gibbs and Anna Weis compete for gold in the mixed multibody Nacra 17 competition at 2:30 p.m. on NBCOlympics.com
