How to Watch the NBC Wednesday Night Olympics

Here are some highlights of Wednesday night’s US broadcast, including three-on-three basketball medals, the women’s rugby sevens opening game, and lots of swimming.

RUGBY A replay of the bronze and gold medal matches of the men’s seventh rugby match will be broadcast at 7 p.m. on NBCSN. USA Network will broadcast the opening game of the USA women’s rugby sevens team at 9 PM.

GOLF The men’s individual hitting game tournament starts at 18:30 and continues until the evening on the Golf Channel.

GYMNASTICS Men’s individual all-around starts NBC’s prime-time coverage at 8 p.m.

BEACH VOLLEYBALL Also at 8 PM USA Network will broadcast a women’s beach volleyball match between Kelly Claes and Sarah Sponcil from the USA and Gaudencia Makokha and Brackcides Khadambi from Kenya. American Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena face off against Argentina’s Julian Azaad and Nicolas Capograsso in the men’s match at 22:00 in the USA.

THREE BASKETBALL In a replay of the sport’s first Olympic gold medal game, Allisha Gray, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young and Stefanie Dolson from the USA face Russia from 8pm on NBCSN.

FENCE On CNBC, the women’s team foil quarterfinals begin at 11:55 p.m., and the semifinals begin at 12:55 p.m.

BMX RACING CNBC will broadcast the men’s and women’s quarterfinals at Ariake Urban Sports Park from 10 pm.

SWIMMING Gold medals are up for grabs tonight, including the men’s 100m freestyle, where American swimmer Caeleb Dressel hopes to win his first individual Olympic medal. Coverage begins at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.

BASKETBALL NBCSN broadcast a replay of the US match against Iran at 23:30.

WATER POLO USA men face Italy in a Group A match on USA Network at 1 pm.

ARCHERY Starting at midnight, CNBC will cover the qualifying rounds of individual archery competitions.
