Matthew Broderick Starring in Broadway’s ‘Plaza Suite’, Tests

Matthew Broderick, who is now starring in the remake of the Neil Simon comedy “Plaza Suite” on Broadway, has tested positive for coronavirus. He did not perform on Tuesday night and it is unclear when he will return to the show.

Broderick’s lead actor, Sarah Jessica Parker, who is also his wife, tested negative and appeared before Broderick’s Tony Award-winning understudy Michael McGrath on Tuesday night. (McGrath won for his 2012 production of “Nice Work if You Can It It,” starring Broderick.)
