NFL Week 6 Anti-Spread Picks

Kansas City at Tennessee Titans, 13:00, CBS

Line: Kansas City -4.5 | Total: 56.5

Kansas City security Tyrann Mathieu has had enough.

Television cameras captured his emotional dialogues with his teammates on the bench and with his hands above his head, in confusion after poor defensive performances and breakdowns on the pitch.

The team faces the Titans (4-2) and the NFL’s leading offensive line Derrick Henry as they sit 28th in fast defense, a nightmare for Kansas City (3-3). The offense isn’t helping the defending AFC champion either. Kansas City is leading the NFL in turnovers (14) and Patrick Mahomes’ eight interceptions are second with Jaguar rookie Trevor Lawrence. After watching the bills include the Chargers and Ravens Kansas City, the Titans’ defense can do the same, or at least keep the game competitive enough to allow Henry and the offense to cover the spread. To choose: Titans +4.5

Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens, 13:00, CBS

Line: Ravens -6 | Total: 47

The Ravens (5-1) showed that they can win in several ways. Lamar Jackson can shoot more than 400 yards or the team can collect 200 fast yards. Four of the team’s six matches were determined by a score, and a matchup with the Bengals (4-2) could be just as close.

Cincinnati’s defense ranks ninth in allowed runs (543), meaning Baltimore may have to rely more on Jackson’s arm. Joe Burrow and fourth-ranked rookie Ja’Marr Chase on the field (553) could turn this into a shootout. Expect the Bengals to keep the game close. To choose: bengals +6

Indianapolis Colts at San Francisco 49ers, 20:20 NBC

Line: 49ers -3.5 | Total: 44

San Francisco (2-3) could join Seattle with another loss on the verge of apathy at NFC West, while the Rams and Cardinals have winnable games.

Jimmy Garoppolo (calf) will likely start as rookie Trey Lance recovers from a knee injury. But George Kittle (calf), who was injured before saying goodbye last week, will not have a tight end.
