OnlyFans Says It Bans Obscene Content


OnlyFans, a social media platform where users can sell subscription access to content, said on Thursday it will ban explicit images from October.

The company said in a statement that it would block users from posting obscene photos and videos at the request of “bank partners and payment providers”. OnlyFans said it will allow people to post images that contain nudity and follow its guidelines.

“We must improve our content guidelines to ensure the long-term sustainability of the platform,” the company said.
