KAMPO: The Japanese

This book is an introductory volume offering practitioners of Asian medicine an opportunity to understand the Japanese perspective and viewpoint on Chinese herbal medicine called Kampo. Kampo focuses on the abdominal examination, called Fukushin, for objective information in prescribing. This book explains the individual component parts of the abdominal exam used in Kampo through verbal descriptions and visual images. And then based on the palpatory findings related to each area, designated principle herbs are provided.
