Upgrade Overheat Resistant Material of The Shrink Wrap Tube
It is hard for beginners to control the heat shrink temperature when first to try these heat shrink wire connectors. Sometime, exorbitant temperature make the wrap tube melt but the solder ring still not melt, which result in failing to connect the wire. So, Kuject upgrade and use special material in the transparent tube, which can prevent the tube melt when it increase to a high temperature in a short time.
Solderless & Crimpless – Save Much Of Your Time
Compared to the crimp heat shrink butt connectors, you don’t need to use the crimper to crimp the item when using the solder seal wire connectors, save one step to do it. And compare to the old way use solder and heat shrink tubing, you don’t need to use the solder iron to solder the wire, also save one step for soldering. So, the solder seal wire connector is solderless & crimpless, which can save much of your time when you are using it for your project. Besides, you can also use them in hard to reach or limited space environments easily.
Thread the connector to one of the wires and then twist the two conductor together.
Tips: Please make sure the end of the wire that you strip out is nice and clean (shiny).
Move the connector to the middle of the conductor.
Tips: Make sure you strip out the end of the wire long enough for them to overlap one another and stay in the area of the solder sleeve.
Apply heat to the connector slowly and evenly with a heat gun with reflector nozzle until it melt with the wire.
Tips: Some of our customers can use lighter to finish the joint, but we strongly recommend to use a heat gun with REFLECTOR NOZZLE to heat shrink the connector, especially for beginners.

Note: In some case, a solder ring mark will be left after the tin ring was melt, but it doesn’t mean the tin ring is not melted and it fails. As long as there are enough tin melt with the copper then it will hold up strongly, it is unnecessary to pursue 100% meltdown of the solder ring. You can stretch it to test after the connector cool down.
