Here are some highlights of US broadcast coverage on Monday, including the beach volleyball quarterfinals and major track and field events. All times are East.
WOMEN’S FOOTBALL A replay of the semi-final match between the United States and Canada will air at 10:00am on NBC Sports.
WEIGHT LIFTING USA Network will broadcast the finals in the women’s 87kg category at 9am and replays at 2:30pm.
GYMNASTICS Coverage of the men’s finals in the vault and rings will air during NBC’s daytime broadcast starting at 12pm.
BEACH VOLLEYBALL USA’s Jake Gibb and Tri Bourne play the last 16 games against Germany’s Julius Thole and Clemens Wickler, broadcast live at 9pm on Peacock and replayed at 5pm on NBC Sports
ATHLETICS American Brittney Reese and Tara Davis battle for gold in the women’s long jump finals, which will begin at 9:50 p.m. on NBC. In the men’s 400m hurdles, at 23:20, Rai Benjamin of the USA wants to beat Karsten Warholm of Norway, the current world record holder.
DIVE The men’s 3m springboard qualifiers will air during NBC’s daytime broadcast starting at 12:00 pm. The semi-finals of the event will be broadcast live on Peacock at 9 PM
EQUESTRIAN The team replay and individual jumping and competition finals will be broadcast on NBC Sports at 14:00.
